The distillery is also home to what they call Ireland’s first ‘gin school’, in which you can learn about and produce your own bottle of gin.
Housed in a 200-year-old barn, every Saturday eager students can choose the flavour profile and botanical mix of their gin, then put it in their own miniature copper still:
Once distilled, you bottle, label and seal your product… what you do with it afterwards is up to you.
What to do with it afterwards? Why, take it home and put it in the drinks cabinet, never to be opened, of course (LOL JK).

WHAT DO YOU know about gin, other than “too much of it makes me cry”? Not much, we’ll bet. But here’s how you can learn.

Don’t worry though, it won’t be all hard learning – refreshments and G&Ts are served throughout the lesson. Thank god for that.
